The patented Speedflow mixing action involves two counter rotating parallel-mounted shafts with blades that produce an intersecting helical effect. Our blades are at 90 degree intervals through one revolution. This concept provides extraordinary mixing action permitting complete dispersion as material is divided, lifted and transferred back and forth between the counter rotating blades. The mixing action is such that it will mix fragile materials (cereals, detergents, etc.) attaining complete homogeneity with little or no degradation of material. | The available SMS Speedflow System includes storage, delivery, feeding and metering packages for liquid and dry materials. Variable speed positive-displacement pumps and moisture analyzers are available for precise metering and control of liquid additions. Dry material flow rates are controlled volumetrically and/or by weight. A completely automated operation can be realized at a competitive cost. |

Abrasion Resistant Rubber Lining
The Heavy Duty Speedflow's mixing trough can be lined with 1 1/4" thick abrasion resistant rubber liners. The liners are segmented for individual replacement and are held in place by molded in mounting bolts. These heavy duty rubber liners...outlast steel four to one! |
Patented Speedflow Mixer The patented Speedflow continuous process mixer features two counter rotating parallel-mounted shafts with special blades to produce an intersecting helical effect. As material to be mixed is introduced into the mixing chamber, it is divided by the first pair of intersecting blades. Each succeeding pair of blades doubles the number of parts into which the material has previously been split. This new concept provides extraordinary mixing action assuring complete dispersion as material is divided, lifted and transferred back and forth between the counter rotating blades. |
